Posts: 59 | Any problems with broken K10D anti-shake switch? I've been browsing a couple Chinese photographics forums and it would appear ther has been several recent cases of K10D anti-shake switch broken clear off. Any similar reports from European, US, other regions? ÎÞ¼ÉÂÛ̳ - ÓÖÒ»¸öK10D·À¶¶¿ª¹Ø¶ÏÁÑ,»¹ÊÇûÄÜÌÓ¹ýÒ»½Ù ÎÞ¼ÉÂÛ̳ - k10DµÄ´àÈõ£*£*£*Î޹ؼ¼Êõ£¬ÎÞ¹ØÉ«²Ê£¬¡¡Ö»ÊÇÖÊÁ¿£¡ and 3 or 4 other examples. |

The guy on the first site linked to appears to be saying he twisted the knob the wrong way, but thinks the switch broke too easily since he doesn't feel he twisted it all that hard. While I'll admit the translations were extremely poor, I didn't see the "half a dozen users" you mention, Katsura. My count was two - someone using the name "sangneee" posted the message in the first site and then responded several times to "cunren" on the second site. Posts: 605 | Also, if I may point out, the anti-shake switch is cradled in a depression in the camera, which limits the range of motion of the switch. Quite a smart move on the designers. I wish they would have done the same with the Focusing switch (I'm paranoid about breaking it off so I always do it gently). For you to twist the anti-shake switch beyond the stopping point, or pushing it the wrong way, it would take a lot more than just an "oops". |

Posts: 1,220 | mine did break off after the second day I got it :P but I superglued it and it works all fine, i keep it on all the time now, except for fireworks shots which it's on tripot |
