New Flash, Old Camera?
Hey guys, I know that using an old flash on a new DSLR can be a very bad thing, but what about the other way around? I've got a Vivitar 285HV coming to use with my K100D and I was wondering if I could use it with my old K1000 as well. Will anything get fried or will they play nicely together?
Also, what about the Cactus wireless transmitters that I'm also getting? Will the transmitter work with the K1000 too? Thanks! |

I have a Vivitar 283 that I use on all my older cameras and newer ones . Shouldn't be any problem with the older, the flash circuitry is built like a tank.
The newer cameras I use a safe synch. |
