Spotmatic resurrection

My Spotmatic had not been used for many, many years. The meter no longer worked and the seals were probably shot. I sent it off to Erid Hendrickson for CLA and repair. This weekend I took it up to San Francisco to try it out. I used Kodak BW400N B&W film because it can be developed using the c41 process at the local drug store. Here's one of the shots from Golden Gate Park.

Remembering how much fun it is to walk around with a great film camera and leave the digital at home every now and then?

Congrats. Good job! Glad to see another one brought back to working order. Some people feel it is not worthwhile.

You are likely good to go for another 20 or so years. What's the incremental cost? A couple of bucks a year?

Use it in good health.

woof!
