I've gone and done it now !!!

I looked first at the Pentax K10D, then I looked at the Canon 400D/450D
Nikon D40/D60/D80 Sony A200/A300/A350 Panasonic DMC-L1/ L10
Olympus E401/E402/E501 Fujipix ProS5

AND what do you think I picked ?

Fuji Pro S5?

It's a beautiful camera!

(but those are all odd choices of film SLR)

Since this is the film camera section, I guess you picked a SPOTMATIC!

. . . I feel as though I've just walked into the ladies by mistake !

But I do like film really, my SLR doesn't belong to the Pentax family though I'm afraid. (Nikon FE, sssshh !!!)

Ladies room

I have done that when I was in college. Not only that, but the gal that was walking out was in the class that I was going into next!! Talk about feeling stupid. I was not totally at fault, as on the first floor of the building, the bathroom in that location was a mens room. On the 2nd floor it was ladies. Man, I am such a dolt!

Oh pleeze - after one of the mergers back in the last century, I was at meetings with the new folks. Mind you they are BANKERS while we were just a TRADING firm or BROKER at best So I was predisposed to see the effete high culture of bankers.

I went to the bathroom... saw a full width mirror and counter in the ante room. Thought, oh this is nice, this is how bankers do. Fancy.

I kept going. Noticed there were no urinals. Well, those bankers

Then I saw the tampon dispenser

I am not making this up BUT . . .

. . . a couple of weeks back my wife and I were at a well known waterfall taking in the views. These were my pre Pentax days so I was taking shots with my GX100. All around DSLR's were firing off. Some directly into the sun with no filters which makes you think sometimes ! Anyway, I came across a Pentax lens cover on the floor. I carried it around looking for Pentax owners but alas Cikon and Nanon cameras were everywhere. I was about to give up and was putting the lens cap on a rock when a ladies face lit up when she noticed me putting the lens down. And this are the exact words I said to her to my wife's utter disbelief ,
' have you got a Tampax ?' Why the heck I said that instead of Pentax only my brain knows !!! I smiled, she smiled, and my wife growled in my ear that I had said it on purpose. I didn't , honest
