Super Program + Nokton 58/1.4 + 160NC = Thanks

I'm loving it, and there's a "but", which is i think i am more a 160VC guy now, that aside, i am really enjoying the cam and lens, i am most intrigued by the two 1.4 shots indoors, the wood beam and the basket i focused at, that's just nice.

Thanks for making me bump into the Super Program on this forum.

This will keep me great company.

Daniel

Daniel,
What a gorgeous mission and your images brought it to me here in LA. As one who loves missions, ''BRAVO'' well done.....

Thank you sir,

the Super Program will go to the Missions with me again and again, with 160VC or even some chrome, but most importantly, later in the day and in winter, the low setting sun straight at the front of the missions makes for some intense blue (cold, dry and non-hazy) skies, for a completely different feel than these morning shots.
The first nine shots in front of the Mission San Jose sign are Mission Concepcion by the way.
In total we have 5 Missions in town, one with it's own small aqueduct, if you are ever traveling this way, stop by San Antonio and make sure to bring plenty of film/cards

I will. Heck, I may take a trip out there just for the missions.
So far I have half of these. California Missions
I am currently planning a road trip to try and hit all of these over the course of a week.

Wow, that's some density of Missions!

Of course the most famous is the Mission San Antonio de Valero. When I moved to San Antonio, it was so disappointing to find it right in the middle of downtown.

Those are some great photographs. I need to come back out there one of these days on a photo trip. Do some shooting down around the river and such.

The most famous mission for me is Mission San Juan Bautista. I think Hitchcock had something to do with that.

Yes but that's not in San Antonio, Robin. The Mission San Antonio de Valero is better known as the Alamo.

I dislike when i see the Alamo in an ad or even in our local news and it appears as if it was free standing, also funny that probably not many know it's full name, i'm pretty sure most people only know it by it's nickname.
My favorite mission is probably Mission Concepcion out of the five.
