MX batteries?

Hi everybody!

A quick question: does MX take the same batteries as LX?

I happen to have spare LX batteries because my recently purchased (from here) LX died on me after two and a half rolls and the repair quote was way too much for me.

Best regards,
Boucicaut

Yes, it does. Silver-oxide last longer than alkaline.

Thanks Bob!

I would think that lithium is the best of the bunch, especially in Finnish winter conditions. But I don't know if these old film bodies are ok with lithium batteries.

Cheers,

I seem to recall a note about lithium batteries as a no-no with these cameras. I could be wrong. I have used silver-oxide batteries for far too many years - even at - 15C - without any problems.
