Superia X-tra ISO 400, $5.97 for 6 rolls at costco

Went to go pick up some film for my new spotmatic at lunch and it looks like costco (MD) is clearing out this film. Quick price check told me this was a decent deal so I got 4 packs, they had about 50 more packs left (3 full cases). I guess this isn't a very hot item

I wasn't too thrilled using it, always seemed a bit gritty and flat. But if the price is right....

I stocked up on Walgreens film for about $1 per roll. I'm not crazy about C41 film, but if you have to test a camera or want color once in awhile, $1/per is not bad at all...

I wish we had those here. I had to pay $2 per roll for Kodak 400 color film.

One of our local grocery stores was closing out their Kodak 400 Max film for $4.99 for a box of 4 rolls, and I happened in one day last month when the whole lot was marked 50% off. The boxes are dated for March of 2009, but I have good luck with keeping film in the freezer.

Not crazy about 400 Max, but I have a freezer full of it now. heh -- bought the whole shelf of the stuff.
