He did a fabulous job on my Lynx 14E and Yashicamat 124G. The big cyclops of a lens on the Lynx was seized and now it glides like silk.
Thanks for the link. I will post on this forum when the camera gets here. I was very tempted to get a 14E. I saw two in apparently good shape go for less than $50 USD recently on eBay. My main concern with that camera is, ironically, the weight of the big f/1.4 lens!

Maggie

Last weekend we went to a kid's birthday party, and I took my K1000, loaded with Fujicolor 400 print film, an auto flash, and Sears-MC 50mm f1.7 lens, and just snapped away. It was fun to use film, and I got some interesting looks from all the other users of digital equipment. Here is a snap of my granddaughter Maggie playing with her friends on the little merry-go-round.

This was a Walgreen's process and lab scan.

I put some cheap BW400CN in my $20 K1000 and started playing around.

I wanted to see if the new/old body was working properly. Calling it a photograph would be stretching it somewhat but it's my first roll of B&W in a good five years or more.

This was through the window of a moving car, it's weird though so I like it.

I don't even know why, but I used to have the idea Velvia gave really unrealistic over-saturated colours. I love the tones in these. 3rd one is my favourite!

From my Rollei Retro 100 test roll...

Ricoh XR-2s, XR Rikenon 50/2, Rollei Retro 100 @ ISO 200, Edwal FG-7 1:15 10'

I would have posted this on the "minimalist thread", but decided that non-Pentax gear is better tolerated here!

Steve

(Should have shot this with the M 50/1.7, I guess...)

Got around to shooting a test roll of Neopan 1600, and while I was experimenting decided to give Pyrocat HD a try. The shots were nothing special, but the film/developer combination really surprised me, especially since I just guessed at the development times. I was expecting chalk and soot tonality and big clumps of grain, what I got was completely the opposite.

MZ-S, 43mm Limited 1/90 sec. @ F4.0
Fuji neopan 1600 @ 1250, Pyrocat HD 1:1:100, 16 min @ 69.5 F, 3 min pre-soak, 1 min constant agitaition then 2 inversions every 3 min., water stop.

My son doing his best dinosaur impression:

For grain comparison here is a 100% crop of neopan 400 in HC-110 Dil. H:

These are very nice Nester.

Here is another shot from the roll of Neopan 1600 from my earlier post. It was WAY overexposed, but I was able to halfway salvage it.

Edit: almost forgot... MZ-S, 43mm limited

Thanks Javier! I was just happy I could salvage it. It was the one shot I wanted the most and the one shot on the whole roll that was way overexposed. Go figure.

Olympus XA, Maco UP400 plus in Amaloco AM74.
I bought a box of these films a while ago but hadn't tried them out yet. I really like the retro look and tonality of this film!
