Lets see those ''film'' shots 8-)

Hi folks...Since our film community is small here, I thought it would be a great idea to have a thread on images that show the beauty of film...Does it have to be a Pentax? ''No'', lets make it about photography...I and others, I am sure, would like to see what different films put out, so film type would be a help if you know. Now lets see those film shots.

Canon AE-1 with 200 provia film.

Great idea - gives me an excuse to show pics from the mid 80s, with ASA400 film I've long forgotten, the Oly OM2s and the Tamron 35-80 SP... Some of the best pictures I've ever taken were from that time.

Most of these are scans of prints...

"Let's step into the way-back machine, Sherman"

Here's some oldies. Not so sure if they are goodies, though.

The 70's and early 80's were pretty much a self-medicated haze for me.
I seldom forgot the camera but sometimes forgot to put film in it!
When the film counter goes past 36 then 37 then 38 .... damn! .... is there any #!@*'ing film in this camera? Arrrrggghhh! Not Again!

Anyways, on the rare occasions I did remember camera, film and light meter I took some pictures.

Kodak slide film
Praktica L (1976?)

Forgotten film
Pentax ME Super (I think)
Self portrait one Halloween night long, long ago. (late 70's)

Son and Daughter playing (again, 20 years ago)

Jim- those slides are awesome! As nice as Velvia can be, I do love Kodachrome...

The following are shot with Fuji PRO160S in a Pentax ES-II:

The above two with an SMC Takumar 105/2.8, the next one is w/Tele Takumar 200/5.6 preset:

160S is pretty cool film, I have a whole load of it slightly expired in 120 size. I do have some trouble getting the colors right when scanning it myself.

Here it is home scanned, used in a Ricoh Diacord:
