New set up...

So, I got my film set up..My friends mom had an old p30t with an smc-a 50mm1.2 on it, a tamaron 28-80, and a vivitar 70-210 macro. She wasn't using it and sold it to me for cheap. I figuer the 50 mm was worth the price. Then my captain gave ( as in for free) his old magnifier and pans and stuff, while he was looking for it, he found the old chinon..He said it was like 20 years old, but I thought, what the hell, sure...can't wait to try these out..

anyone know anything about the p30t? I originally thought it was a k1000, but then saw that it was a p30..I never heard of that before..

If memory serves, the P series was the last manual advance camera that Pentax introduced. It looks like it's a decent little camera, with manual, aperture priority, and full program modes. The lens on it is not bad either. The Vivitar could be good if it's a Series 1. The Chinon looks like a decent little body too.

smc-a 50mm1.2
I assume you meant 1:2 not a 1.2, cause that would have been one heck of a deal!

Smart lookin little fellahs, those grey ones, though, aren't they?

Oh, hey, btw, you can be sure that Chinon is older than twenty years. Looks like a Spottie copy, I see an FP synch on there, and it's probably screw mount. Good deal, though, eh?

good eye Gwen! the CS stands for 'Chinon Screw' and it is an m42 Spotmatic clone. first released in 1968 I believe.

Ha ha -- I had to check the photo after reading that myself. It's a 1:2.
