Zoom lens for K1000

Hi Everybody. I use 28mm and 50mm primes with my K1000. Have you any suggestions for me as to what would be a good quality zoom in the 28-50mm (approx) range for me to use. I wont be giving up the primes. It's just that for casual photography, like family events, it could be very convenient. Thanks.

Maybe the 28-90 Vivitar Series 1 (often made by Komine). It's a heavy chunk of glass but a decent lens overall.

you might want to look at a 24-48 pentax zoom. Not sure exact F stop range, but it gets you a little wider.

Thank you both for the suggestions. I hadn't thought of Vivitar either.
