A little off topic...

To those of you that want to develope your own film, you do not need a darkroom. You just need somewhere dark to change the film from the canister to the tank. Any room without windows will do. Or you can use a changing bag, and do the entire process in your kitchen.

Once the film is in the developing tank, it is really no harder then mixing a martini.

The only reason one would need a darkroom is to do analog wet prints.

Really? I'll need to read up on this then... I'm kind of up to developing my own especially B&W...

Thanks guys for the kind comments.
The only part I don't like is that the film is not produced anymore. SO if it becomes my film of choice when the stock are gone then I will have to change (likely to Delta 100). That said I just ordered 20 rolls and might keep doing that once I have some funds to spare.

FWIW Rollei Retro 100 is the same emulsion on a different base.

You don't need much darkroom if you are planning on scanning the negs:

Changing bag
Tank
Reel(s)
Chemistry
Things to measure with
Viscous sponge
Quality/accurate thermometer

I have used the windowless laundry room in the dead of night in lieu of a changing bag and hung the film on the bathroom shower rod to dry. The main issue in my mind is storage for the chemistry and a work counter that can be easily cleaned after use.
