You guys have finally got to me with all his B&W film talk. I am going to order some Rollei Retro 100 today and start shooting/processing my own B&W again. This should prove interesting.

That's a good choice, you will see.

I am also trying the Rollei R3 which can be exposed from 25 to 6400 iso with the two Rollei developpers RLS and RHS.

I have used the windowless laundry room in the dead of night in lieu of a changing bag and hung the film on the bathroom shower rod to dry. .

An alternative is the Agfa Rondinax daylight developing tank. No need for darkrooms or changing bags of any kind. It's all done in daylight, even loading the film, and what's more, it actually works. It's how I do all my b&w films (mostly Rollei Retro 100 and 400, BTW).

Agfa APX100 developed in Rodinal used to be my favorite slow speed combination.
I tried Rollei Retro 100 film (120) but it wrinkled badly. The base seems quite thin.

Steve, you won't be disappointed. Chris is right, the base used to be quite thin (even on the 135) but it seems a little better now. Tonally it's a lovely film, with beautiful grain structure. Being unadventurous, I develop in Rollei RHS at the nominal 5 minutes. I've been shooting the 400 a bit too. As long as the exposures are good, the grain is hardly more noticeable than the 100.
