So the Year is 1983 and the camera is the Super Program...

Nesster, I take it this was a double-truck ad hence the vertical split in the middle. My first thought was the photographer did a masterful job of masking the reflection of his camera in the lens element. Then I thought "E?" What a strange way to show the Euro Cam of the Year logo.

Yes, inside front cover, so there's a slice that's inaccessible

Ah, I really always did have a soft spot for the Super Program. When I was younger the finder not being up to ME Super standards wasn't such a big deal, but it otherwise pretty much fixed all the annoyances. They really could have put in a real shutter speed dial any time, though.

Very handsome for a chrome camera when they were new, too, though still maybe not as cool as a Super A.

I love how Pentax uses "super" as a prefix/suffix denoting "better than the last one"

It's fun to see that ad again. The Super Program (w/ winder attached) was a wonderful camera to use, and very comfortable even with tele lenses.
