Dropped Spotmatic SP?

So, my lovely and fantastic girlfriend had a bit of a mishap with her Spotmatic at school recently. It was on her desk, with Super Tak 85mm f/1.9 attached, and the spoiled brat behind her kicked the desk's rear leg. Long story short, her viewfinder seems darker than it used to. No real dent, and the rewind knob/post seems to have taken most of the impact, but we're wondering if something might have come un-done.

We ran over to a local pawn shop that I knew had some M42 Pentaxes waiting to be bought in stock, and checked it compared to them (ended up being a SP1000 and an SV with a Soligor 400mm f/6.3 that wouldn't unscrew off the camera, and a locked mirror/shutter cocking mech), and it seemed similar, but the SP1000 was fairly thrashed as well.

For comparison's purposes, my Canon 40D with an SMC 35mm f/3.5 wide open had roughly the same, if not brighter viewfinder than her Spotty with a 55mm f/1.8.

SOldbear-

That was the best fix I've ever heard of/seen. Quicker than snot, too!

You rock, and I'm (meaning girlfriend who has final due very soon) incredibly grateful!

You're welcome, my friend. Just don't drop your Canon 40D. I haven't learned how to fix that one yet
