K-5 and Sigma 50-500 OS

Hello!
I would like to ask if there are people here who use k-5, k-5 or k-2 5 2s with Sigma 50-500 OS. I'm interested in the speed of focus throughout the range of k-5.
Currently shooting with a 150-500 WildLife and I am very happy but I am wondering if the focus is in the 50-500 faster and by how much ..
I would appreciate if photographers who shoot with a 50-500 OS to show video

Thanks in advance .. here are some of my results obtained with the k-5 and 150-500

No kidding, jpyykonen. Unbelievable photos! Easily some of the best I've seen from the K-5 and Sigma 150-500. You should definitely submit some to the Pentaxforums Exclusive Gallery.

I should have my 50-500 OS in the next week or so, and then I can compare the focus speed (and other things) to my 150-500 OS. In the meanwhile, I can definitely say your images aren't suffering from using the 150-500!

Heck, contact Sigma and show them your work. They might send you a 50-500 OS for free!

Thank you!

I am new to this forum and still learning it
I am very pleased with both the PENTAX bodies who've used .. and the Sigma 150-500. I think for professional use this system is more than adequate.I have photographed all systems and lenses, and certainly what I get from my system enough for me.
I do not think I need to change 150-500 with 50-500. I just want to see how fast its focus from edge to edge. I have used Sigma 50-500 Nikon observations but I what about PENTAX K-5. I prefer the slow tricks for super fast.

Whether PENTAX enough for shooting birds with Sigma 150-500 lens?

this is a result which could not achieve even 1DMk4 and 100-400

Love those shots, I don't have either of those lens, but if the range between 50-150 is what you want , why not get a K-30 w/ Pentax DA 55-300 for less than the price of the Sigma 50-500 OS HSM?
