Pentax 645D - sportscamera off the year!

So how funny is this race in the fps world where camera are getting faster and faster every year. I won the monthly photocontest here with an image I shot with the Pentax 645D and the 645 FA*300mm/f4 lens at the European Championship Synchronized Swimming this year.

This is the winning image:

I used it for areport to Pentax and Adam has it also seen in print. Have a large print at home and it is wonderfull.

More images from that periode that I traveled with the 645D can you find:
Pentax 645D, gebruikersreview (85 foto's)

The set-up I used for this image:

Image made by Roel Ubels with Olympus E-5 at the side of a fieldhockeygame.

Wat gaaf!
Zeker een mooie foto.

Ben zelf aan het twijfelen hoe de 645D in de studio doet moet portret, ben bang dat die namelijk te langzaam is maar we mogen hem testen van Pentax =]

Nice that you can test the 645D. Does it come with the new 90mm lens? Or do you get the set I had? 645D, DFA55mm, 45-85mm and 150mm lens.

Well. they are willing to bring everything they have
But i've specially asked for the 90mm, really want to test that one and the 25mm would also be cool.

I'm trying to see i can have them a bit longer then a day but not sure if that is going to work.

Yes I saw that one, already almost two years old. I thought it was crazy back then, but it is cool.

Two years ago I wasn't even on here so I didn't know if you had seen it.
Well, sport shooters used to have about one fps and 24-36 pics on a roll not so far back in time.

I've seen once a soccerphotographer movie and his working method. It was at Ajax Soccer and he had 4 Nikon camera's with filmrolles. Behind him was one helper who had only one task and that was to change filmrolls.

AHAHAH !! Excellent ! great job and excellent picture ! this should remember us that it's all about that right moment that we should press the shutter, and stop counting so much on the fps to get the shot !
Congratulation !

i've seen some crazy guys like him during some rock climbing comp's ... and it was sooo cool. i've dig a Motor for my Super A that goes up to 3.5 fps i'd love to give a shot with it !

(i don't see any kind of contradiction between my two points )
