What does the part about "Added Electronic Level indication on the Monitor" mean? Because doesn't it do that already?

I think now it means you can have both the electronic level and the exposure level at the same time. I installed the firmware late last night and don't have the K7 with me right now, but I think when you have the level enabled the level uses the bar and the exposure +/- is displayed with numbers to the right of the bar.

Just installed it: the exposure value is now displayed instead of ISO value (only when the electronic level is refreshing, for a few seconds after you've pressed the shutter half-way).

Nice little addition.

Liveview AF is amazingly improved.

Can anyone confirm what I think I'm seeing.

1. Regular (non LV) AF with DA* lenses is faster.
2. Video recording seems a tad less noisy.

LiveView AF is much faster, as if using phase rather than contrast detection.
AF on DA* lens seems faster, with less searching.
Seems improved on FA Ltd as well, with less time to lock on AF.
Don't know if it's more accurate though.

So, if AF is improved for the K-7, we can imagine it would be something that has been in development and will see an even better improvement on a newer body, no?
And with somewhat improved control over video, it would be expected to have better control(frame rate & exposure) on the new body as well?

How long did the update take once it started? Mine's been on "Phase 1 / 2" for about an hour now.

Only a couple of minutes for both phases. Phase2 takes longer than phase1. Shouldn't take an hour.
