Pentax K-5 to be announced in 2 days!

So, we've reached Saturday, the 18th. On Monday, in just two days, the official details on the K-5 will be unveiled!

Do I know them already? Maybe. If I do, I can't disclose them. If I don't, then everything is a rumor except for a few confirmed k-5 facts as determined on the forum. Let the final discussion begin!

Someone ought to compose a lyric to Paul McCartney's tune in the very opening of "Venus and Mars" album. Something like:

"Logging in to the great Pentax Forums...
Waiting for Key five to arrive...
Cropped Frame, Full Frame,
High ISO noise are all
friends of mine..."

May be someone with proper English can chime in

Anyone know WHEN on Monday it will be announced? The press conference time for the K-R release was known ahead of time so I'm hoping someone knows the same for the K-5.

Anybody know if this is 12 bit like the k7 or 14 bit like most other high end cameras...

Here's hoping it'll be Japan time. I am same in the same timezone, so it could be Tuesday for me..

The K-r was announced at 12 noon, Japanese time.

At this point I am more interested in new glass. We have a pretty good idea what to expect...... a K-7 with the new Sony sensor and better AF. Not a lot of mystery.

What lens can we expect to see with the K-5? I doubt there is any chance we will see some fast long primes. A 135mm f/2 would be nice or a 90mm f/1.4.
