a) K-r + DA-L 35/2.4: $929
b) K-r + DA-L 18-55 & DA-L 50-200: $899.95
c) K-r + DA-L 18-55: $819

What's wrong with this picture? Shouldn't the 35 kit be priced pretty close to the 18-55 kit?

The links in the "article" don't link as they are labeled. (K-r 35mm kit goes goes to something else and one of the other ones is off too)

The 35mm's MSRP is $219, while the DA L kit's is about $49.

I don't see the 35mm by itself on BH, am I missing something?

I can't find it either but the new zoom is there. The $100 rebates shown in another thread don't apply to the 35mm kit FWIW.

$100 rebate? Did not see anything about that.

I'm sure its old news but I did see the 35mm on Amazon and Adorama. Although Amazon says it will ship in 1-2 months and Adorama says nothing.

Nope, they have no idea.

I was told, via web chat with Pentax Imaging, the middle of October. As you may have noticed it is late October so I can therefore only conclude that Pentax Imaging are a bunch of liars. haha

Pentax prices are up. not necessarily a bad thing if the products deliver.
the K-5 will be compared to the 7D that is getting all the superlatives and love.

I am waiting for the reviews.

K-5 is in stock at bhphotovideo, will order it in feb when prices will be lowered.
