Interesting comment. Canon is undergoing a massive recall of the Mk III. It has focusing problems.

P.S. I hope this New Pentax 20DX is fully 'dishwasher-proof', as I always like my camera equipment to look absolutely pristine at ALL times !

I met with the rep again yesterday, and he told me that Yes It Is
However the writing fades after about 10,000 cycles
That's the only thing not covered under the unconditional warranty

1. There is a lens in the middle of the body
2. There is a flash on the body
3. It says Pentax (Sort Of)
4. It says 20 DX (the X being Xtra special) I think?
5.There are pro looking "Black" parts next to not so pro "White" parts...Too technical for me. Maybe RH can help me out here.
6. There is a view finder.
7. And most important of all, it has the really Big "GREEN" Button.

Now if this doesn't sway the skeptics...Well my name is not John Smith.

John Smith
This one is collectible, since it has a misspelling of the brand name. Could be worth as much as a coin with both sides heads or tails.

Beyond Genius...

Sure does..I actually handled the "Baby"...As you look through the viewfinder, which is "brilliantly" just a distorted piece of melted moulded plastic, you "really" get the feeling that what you are photographing is happening in "real time." It really feels like you are "alive" when taking the photo. That is why the Pantex 20DX has the newly patented name "A-Live View"..

Sheer Brilliance...Absolute mind boggling Genius...Imagine the R&D expenditure...

Ok, but it is still missing the landing gear and I also do not see the ability to take multiple pictures 180 degrees apart at the same time.
Also what about the optional Microwave oven?

So will we need an applicator to insert the batteries? Will there be a string hanging out the door?

no!

It just means for 5 days a month it won't focus properly or take images that are properly exposed and don't even attempt to recharge the batteries
