Could This be the New Pentax 20DX

I can't tell if this is a doctored retouched image or the real thing, but it sure looks convincing to me. Looking at my K10D I see a lot of similarities.

1. There is a lens in the middle of the body
2. There is a flash on the body
3. It says Pentax (Sort Of)
4. It says 20 DX (the X being Xtra special) I think?
5.There are pro looking "Black" parts next to not so pro "White" parts...Too technical for me. Maybe RH can help me out here.
6. There is a view finder.
7. And most important of all, it has the really Big "GREEN" Button.

Now if this doesn't sway the skeptics...Well my name is not John Smith.

Of course its real

Pantex not Pentax and different points on the font - its the new name after the Hoya merge
Pentax always uses turqoise for a colour
The angles on the viewer and flash look perfectly matched

I spoke to the local Pantex rep earlier today and he confirmed it Mr Smith.

He was saying that it has a 30 megapixel sensor, bomb proof case, acid resistant and comes with a 30 year un-conditional warranty.

LOL! Pantex MUST be the new name from the merge with Hoya... and the obviously high tech lens is surely a product of the merger as well. I'm sure we can expect the availability to be much better as well. Oh, and look at the weathersealing! NICE

Sure, I can help. However, Pantex or Pentax has already been replaced by Hotax. And, my Hotax is surely better than the latest 20DX Pentax ("sort of") model you let us know:-

News Special Update

Rumor has it that Hoya Pentax and the Tampax company have merged. Thus the new "PANTEX" camera...I am so excited. Think of all of the marketing possibilities...Can't wait. The visuals are going to be awesome...

Hmm thats a welcome addition to the family as Tampax have extended knowledge on various forms of weather sealing, might have to go the way of Leica though and use black tape over the brand now.

I hope that my posting this revolutionary camera doesn't breach my NDA with Pentax...
