I heard that Pentax will announce Full Frame during the 2012(rumor). Sensor will be 24mb same as A9x. Pentax FF will be better than K-5.

I'm not sure that pentax introduce the FF in 2012 but they will!

also pentax will introduce the Crop Mirroless too!!!

Is the source reliable? Will be interesting to follow what happens, if it's true it will probably be released late in the year, in time for christmas like the K-5. I have been waiting for this since the MZ-D didn't make it to the markets.

Interesting, I was talking to a Pentax Canada marketing rep yesterday at Henry's (a Canadian photo retailing chain) and his indication was NO full frame from Pentax.

Who knows. We'll just have to wait.

Pentax reps generally do not know about coming products until it is ready for order wth a product number...

I did heard nothing about any other camera labeled Pentax. And i heard nothing from official sources, Ricoh-Pentax. But please, dream on!

As hopeful as I am about a Pentax full frame launch, most of the rumors we're hearing right now seem to cite unnamed sources or other rumors if they cite anything at all. I'm not putting much stock in them at this point, but just in case, I've got my humping stormtrooper icon standing by.

Korea Pentax show rumor about FF in 2012 also.

most of the Pentax camera follow Sony's camera cause of Sony's sensor. K-5is example of my fact. Also nxt year, sony will introduce Sony FF A9x. It will be use 24mb sensor. Pentax FF wull use 24mb sensor also. nikon will use 24mb sensor for D800. Isn't it same happening as 2011 K-5, D7000, A55? These camera use same sony sensor.

Nikon D3X and Sony Alpha 900 and Alpha 850 did use the same Sony 24MP FF sensor two years ago, but that didn't stop Pentax to AVOID using it.

It's getting more credible that Pentax are working on a FF model. So it's more interesting now speculating over it. This thread will no doubt prove that point.

You know, even a broken clock is right on time twice a day. If we say "FF is coming" long enough, one year it may be true. Unlike so far.

they've had enough development time, the only thing missing is the lenses, but they discontinued the nice FA* long enough ago now to have reworked them. I just hope it's WP. And they bring out a bloody flash for the new millennia...and 24 mp, cause anything larger would bite into the 645 territory.

Glad I haven't sold my FA*'s....yet!
