This images are made with K20D and unfinished firmware.

The firmware is still beta. Well se the final version on 24th.
I don't think it would be fair to give away the author even thou I don't believe he broke NDA contract. Just in case.
One other thing, this pictures confirm that 16:9 sensor is nothing but a bad dream.
It's hard to tell how good the images are from resized ones. Resizing is probably the most effective form of PP'ing...
I'd like to know how many action shots they threw away to get the ones posted...it's always possible to get focused action shots, but the percentage from the K10D is significantly lower than from a Canon 40D or Nikon's D300...
Well, if that's really ISO 6400 from a K20D on beta firmware, it's good enough for me. Looks kinda like ISO 1600 on the K10D, so yeah, that's a couple of stops improvement. Add to that better SR, and Pentax looks to have another solid product here (given the price is right).
You guys are right about the vertical pattern noise, though. We won't hear the end of it for a couple of months after the release if Pentax doesn't do something about it.
SAFOX IX maybe? And 5 FPS, at least? The K20D's current competition all come with at least 5 FPS.
maybe I got it wrong, but I think those noisy shots are 100% crops. If they are, it looks really good. That is with no NR applied, you can easily get rid of the chroma noise.
Considering the setup (birds, sandboarding, quad-cycles) I'd say the WOW factor of this new camera will be the fastest and more accurate predictive AF we've ever seen.
And come on, if the K10D does 5fps they surely won't degrade it.
what is around that guys neck, could be a K100D or K10D, but notice the color of the shutter button...
I say it is the K200D judgeing by the size of his white badge there. Surely if he is there for such an event they are not going to send those guys out there to take pictures with old stock.
Exaclty same thing happened with k10d. early leak of k10d images, terrible VPN even with iso 800 ... but k10d owners know that iso 800 is perfectly usable ...

Hmmm, the leaked pictures of K200 show a silver shutter release. I think you may of just spotted the UFO! Lends credence to the pics being taken by a K20d too.
