Of course, the front wheel IS the second wheel! There's always been a wheel on the back of any Pentax DSLR.

Always does not mean ever. Let us say that the rear wheel, if any, is quite discreet.

But the TAv mode (between M and Av) seems to confirm there are two dials.

Mode dial access to User modes? Yes please.

Also, Ogl has a point. I can't see a second dial on the back. But the camera has TAv mode, so I'm assuming it'll have two dials or that'd just be incredibly annoying.

It seems that there's inscribed something below the SR badge on the front side of the camera? Or is it just me?

Also, I find it strange that we have seen two versions of the K30 logo, one with the classic "K" from the K-series era (1970's) and one with the DSLR-K.

maybe that last picture from boulanger.fr was an of earlier production sample and not supposed to go into that advertisement? The PPing of the black color of the body doesn't really look punchy enough for a promotional pic compared to the other, which all seem to be consistent wrt. the K (note also the different texture of the grip).

I really like the looks of this one, seems it's an amalgam of several eras of Pentax - I can see something of the '80s in the shape of the grip from the top view, for example. A friend of mine is selling his ancient Nikon DSLR soon and, having played with my kx and k5, wants a Pentax. I think this is the one I'll steer him towards as it will most likely serve him best for the budget he wants to spend.

The photo with the top view seems to resemble those fujifilm bridge cameras because of the elongated pop-up flash. I hope the specs are close enough to the K-5 so that this will be a worthwhile upgrade from my K-x.

Edit: I missed that last post.
