The 24th. Not sure if that is 0001 GMT or Japan time.

Shit... Only 3 fps. I hope that this part is not accurate. The 24th is only a few days away, so the truth will be forthcoming.

Chris,
If the K20D does not have at least 5fps and 250 flash sync it is not going to sell very well against the competition! One poster on DP review said these specs are not correct. I for one hope he is right. Bomb ---not hardley.

It does more than 3FPS, but you'll see the truth in a few days so don't go bashing the cameras just yet.

D300 look alike

My guess is this camera does 3 FPS in 14 Bit and upwards of 5 FPS in 12 Bit.

Chris,
Don't get me wrong , I'm not bashing the camera. I'm just looking for one that will do sports photos a little better. I'm really hopeing for better af and faster fps--if so I.ll buy one asap.

The FPS may affect some users, but purchase decision based on 250 flash sync? You mean 1/2 stop would make that much difference, especially if you have HSS as a backup (albeit with reduced flash range)?
