Didn't go near live view for the session...

Do they make pink ones? I know someone who'd get one like a shot if they did. As Pentax are a "cult" (that's not the word I want but can't think of the right one just now) I think they could branch out a bit with their cult status and do different stuff like that, maybe with their entry level ones anyway, and it would be a big hit.

I look foreward to the 35mm macro. Hope it has a focus limiter. Earlier i used the 60mm Nikkor. Then the new 50mm Pentax Macro (the best), and now hoping for the 35mm Macro to be evne better. Seems inpossible though. I need extra DOF.

But will the best lens out -resolve an 14mp sensor at 100 ISO. DRvise also?
Or what?

Or is the reason for 645D high 40MP actually due to lenses. Or glass?

repeat question....sorry

Hey Ben,

I asked this in your "new toy" thread, but it looks like this is the proper "ask me a question" series. Is CA/purple fringing (or lack thereof) less with this camera, such as from the DA* 16-50 at 16mm, f2.8? Thanks for the info!

Oh..and built like a tank. Gorgeous ergonomy as expected a lovely black shutter release button and a ton of stuff that "SCREAMS" Professional DSLR.

As this is a pre-release issue, I must return it after the news conference. I will try to find the time to test it with my 16-50 tomorrow when I go to the conference.

Pardon???? Perhaps you should test it out for yourself when you have an opportunity to do so.

Your calling me a liar is behavior more akin to a Neanderthal stick swaggering moron with the IQ of a newt...

Don't waste my time here.

Unless you have a history with him , that was uncalled for.

Ben,
Would you mind if I quote your first post on a flyfishing forum.

There was someone there asking about the Nikon D200 earlier today.

I'll PM you the link if you'd like to check it out first, but I don't think that they'd appreciate their bandwidth getting used up by Pentax Forums posters.

I'll be traveling to England, France and then Spain for pleasure and photography. How badly will I need to bring this new camera and will it be available for me by May 1st?

I'll be shooting architecture and landscape almost exclusively. Also, will I need to rethink my lens choices at all? I only shoot wide to short telephoto. 50mm max
