As far as I know at this time..way before May.

Ben, you're great for offering up all this great information to the forum.

I can only dream of playing with this camera, and hopefully one day I'll have the grapes (and money) to buy it for myself. But that is so far down the road it makes me quite sad.

Now your talking my language!!! The only thing I would like to know more about is frame rate, can you just say if it's higher than the K10D?

Ah thanks for the post Ben! Always tempting us with goodies haha.

Say..does this K..D see the aperture coupler returned or is it still 'crippled'?

Ben will it accept the SanDisk 4 GB Extreme III Secure Digital (SDHC) Memory Card? IO hope you can confirm that at least. Thinking about pulling the trigger on 3 of them for 40 bucks.

Also will the K10D accept that card as well? Sorry for asking but I don't own a camera yet and I would had I not found this site and learned of the upcomming announcement.

Yes, both would accept them.
Can you tell me where you can get this deal? It's a hot price!
I would like to buy them as well! Not from ebay though, as you would regret it.

Thanks, Ben for the reply.
It's very relieving to hear it since most of my friends who shoot w/ Cn admire my K100D IQ but always under estimate my Pentax AF speed, which is true.
Now I think I will be able to convert them to Pentax ..hmm sounds more like ministry now...hehehe.....hope this won't be a Pentax cult.
I don't mind w/ anything else as long as the AF's speed & accuracy in low light is at least the same or better than Cn or Nk than I'm more than happy.
Thanks again Ben. You're very good in marketing/spokesperson..I'm glad that Pentax hire you.

Does, it have a built in battery grip?
When will it be available?
Will there be pre orders?

How is the chroma noise at high ISO. Film like grain is very acceptable to me. But chroma noise, I don't like it, though easy to correct.

What are your impressions of low light focusing?

If it's much quieter than K10D, with 5D level high ISO performance with better focusing, I'll be sold.
