Pentax Days - OREGON

Pentax Days!

When: Friday April 25 & Saturday April 26
Time: 10am to 5pm
Where: Pro Photo Supply

This is it, the Pentax sales event of the season! Have the opportunity to meet the Pentax factory rep and see what’s new from Pentax. Take advantage of sale pricing and specials all week long!

Pro Photo Supply - Oregon's Photography and Imaging Source - Portland OR Camera Store

Anyone in the great pacific Northwest needing to get their hands on a K20? I just saw a print ad for this in the sports page of the Oregonian this morning! I havent been to this store before, but it has a decent reputation.

If anyone goes... how about a short trip report?!? any rumors etc?? Maybe a 60-250 prototype??

Pro Photo Supply is a great store. They just started carrying Pentax about a year ago. The other quality store in the Portland area is Citizen Photo. They also carry Pentax.

If anyone from this forum is at the event, it might be an occasion to inquire about "model revision". Just an idea...

I've only been to that store once, but got a favorable impression. I'll probably swing by on Saturday and see what kind of deals they have.

Just checked this store's website. It appears that they normally only sell Pentax P&S. Anyone planning on going might want to check before going.

I've been in there a couple times--they have the Pentax DSLR's and accessories. Citizen Photo and Advance Camera Repair are the other Pentax retailers in town I know of.

I recently got my K10d repaired at Advance Camera Repair they were able to talk Pentax into covering the repair under warranty even though it was a couple months past the 1 year mark.

so did anybody go? I did... just got back. Soooo, geuss what I played with today? 17-70 sdm f4 throughout and weather sealed. it was the first sdm lens I've tried so that was pretty cool. got a definite maybe on the price too... approx 600. also saw the da* 300, and I think it was a 55-300 that I saw... said that pro photo was stocking it. one tidbit that was dropped: the rep said that the fa 77 was going to stay in production. that's about all I've got... so thought I'd share
