That is what I have thought all along, an K20D upgrade. I'm not about to speculate what that would be. And Please! do not apologise for your English! It is perfectly serviceable, you got your ideas across very well. You should see my Korean! (absolutely none!) I'm a little better at Japanese, can say hello, good bye and count to 10!
NaCl(look forward to the photokina announcement)H2O

It is not real apology.. just insurance, and understand for my handycap-
sometimes I can't understood some threads..
so maybe I can make a trouble with misunderstood English or mistypen English.
hmm.. I know what you mean.
Asians (especially Japanese) usually doing apologize.(even if he don't make any mistake.) Doing apologize is some kind of 'manner'.(in Asian)
I heard Westerns don't do any apologize when they don't make mistake.
hmmm... I know. maybe I need to change some words..
Apologize to poor English → understand for poor English
I also have information, that
Pentax can show K20D super with higher fps (4.5-5) and with some improvements in the same body based on K20D. But, I can't say that it's 100%.

wow, higher FPS?
maybe new shutter box.. good. good..
but that's really minimal improvements..
It is contrary to my expectation..
4.5-5 is not big improvement too.

In fact if the rumour will be correct they're doing the right thing. This would mean:
- they start to get online new systems such as new AF, new Prime processor;
- they'll get another 12 months of service for the K20 in this latter form;
- they could maintain K20D also in production and bracket competion models in price and features;
- they'll retain enough novelties for the new KxD which will be the startpoint of a semipro range. They could launch this early next year but have the Xmas season covered pretty good with the K2000D and K20D Super;
- fps is just one thing ... there are many at least or more important things such as:
- 14 bit RAW;
- larger buffer for raw, jpg (btw check the buffer for raw on the new D90 ... pathetic);
- new af system;
- larger LCD, higher res;
- better controled noise thru a new processor/pipeline, improved DR @ all ISO;
- improved battery life if the new processor is more energy efficient;
- new DA 18-135 sealed zoom kit lens maybe;
- improved LV for those who want/need it;
- movie mode possible with new processor.
This kind of camera could be much better than a D90 and sell really well IMHO.
This brings the rumor count on the new Pentax bodies up to four. The K2000D, K250D, K20D super, and K2D FF. Am I out to lunch here? Is this the same count anyone else gets?
I'm going to assume the "K250D" rumor is really the K2000D, and it is one body and not two. A K20D Super with improved focus, metering and FPS would line up well against the 50D from Can*n. So in a way, a K20D super looks like a good idea at this time.
Pentax still needs to show a FF camera of some type. I think it's looking like a prototype that will not be on the shelves until much later. I just cannot see Pentax releasing three bodies at the same time. Two, sure, but not three.
So if the top camera from Pentax at Photokina is the K20D Super, it could be a long wait for those that want FF from Pentax. They might anounce one, but I don't expect to see it for sale.
Personally, I'd be disapointed if the best from Pentax is the K20D Super. Not that I can afford or need to upgrade, but it would be nice to see a top camera from Pentax.
Posted on the other forum: there are already taxis driving around in Koln with Pentax ads on them. Notice how they put key parts in the dark. Oh, the suspense
By the way: on that photo the prism appears wider, or the logo is smaller. I've compared it with the K10D and K20D, and the dimensions are indeed different.
Is this the long-awaited FF model (which could possilby use a wider prism?)
