Wonder how easy that is to do, wouldn't mind getting me k10d firmware on my gx-10 for use with remote assistant/pef raw files. Don't suppose someone who speaks russian better than google translator could explain whats said on that page?

The guy bought his GX10 camera in store and a few month later ,when trying to update ROM, he realized that his GX10 is loaded with K10D ROM.

He is wondering how to reverse it back to Samsung ROM.
He got also a few bugs, one with focusing points selection and one with SR selection. He think it is because camera was loaded with the wrong ROM.

Everything else is working ok.
He is also complaining that battery charge indicator is not accurate, but he is new to Pentax, this indicator was never accurate starting from my istD days.

No, you misunderstood some details.
there is no bug with SR and bug with AF is a feature, because there is difference between labels drawn on Pentax and Samsung models (Pentax has labels on camera, while Samsung on AF-points-dial ring). That's causes issue with reversed selector.

And he hadn't updated camera him self. He bought it in such condition from shop. When he tried to update, then he realised that he has GX with K firmware (he tried to update, but cam refused, then he found he has pentax firmware. And then he had made an experiment - he uploaded pentax firmware and cam was ready to update (but he hadn't done it))
