BFD!

Wow that's it? No higher spec body? I have to say that Pentax has poor timing and even poorer grasp of what it's BASE (us) wants out of them. It was time really dazzle the photo world and they didn't get it, as usual....oh well back to waiting.

The K-M looks the sexiest digital camera EVER: that little chrome border is pure style!
!
Happy to see a ring flash and a converter...they were requested for ages!

@ K100D: it says that it's like a compact camera with the add of a real viewfinder, large and bright.

I would say "back to photographing"

It's nice although I don't know what the (exact) specs are. I hope Pentax will grow its market share with it.
Also good to have more lenses too.

If k-m gets under £250 in 6 months I will buy it as great small secondary body with my 43mm f1.9

Guess I will move forward now with my K20D purchase. Looks like a sweet little camera that might be a good Christmas present for my dad. Excited about the new lenses and the ring flash though.

Small and compact. The smallest DSLR in the world with SR.
Yep, I think what could get me hooked up on the limited lenses are a small enough body. It has always looked sort of odd with pancakes on the relatively bulky K10D and K20D. Does anyone have the exact dimensions of the KM? How thick will it be with the DA pancakes on?

Don't think though that I will care for any kit zooms with plastic bayonet.

And this M = "Miles", what does that come from?

bayonet could be with fluoroplastic cover.

K-M is the smallest Pentax DSLR and smallest DSLR in the world with in-camera SR.
