That is the general trend for most retailers. Everybody seems to be holding their breath when it comes to Pentax.
If they pull a Minolta, what will they end up doing? Optics is all Pentax has ever done. They won't start making photocopiers (if they did, I'd buy one), and even if they get bought by Samsung, Holden or China, they'll still be doing what they do best - cameras. Great cameras.
Look at the A700 and A900 from Sony - that's some heavy KM engineering in there. Those cameras are so old-school, they don't even have live view (le gasp)!
