Bullshit rumors from Italy

In one of the most important photography forums of Italy, JuzaPhoto, Juza Nature Photography Forum • Leggi argomento - indiscrezioni novità PENTAX... Fullframe e..., it has surfaced a rumors about a meeting in PentaxItalia (the Italian office of Pentax Europe) where there has been a talk about two new model (k30D and K40D) both full frame, soon to be presented, and that a medium format is in the work, a 6x6 that replaces the 645D as per Hoya request.

I know it's obviously just bullshit, but I post here "just in case". Anyway, we have seen even more absurd posts...

Happy Holydays to all of you...

Lol you guys are a crack up, thanks for the laughs .

I had a thought though, with the $ power of Hoya, and partnership with Samsung, do you think that Pentax might be in a better position to be more aggressive with model releases? I use the Minolta/Sony model as an example.

The more I learn about the industry the more suprised I become at the changes. If I had to guess though, I'd err towards laughing at the rumors too. Simply bad timing with the economy, but I always have one eyebrow raised.

well, not to sound like saying "I just saw Elvis eating a cheese burger"... I went to a city store today, and spoke to a the shop lady about the benefit of upgrading from the K200D to K20D; She gave me the usual spills of how great it is....

BUT.... she did say to hold off upgrading to the K20D, as her Pentax sales rep told her *hush hush* there will be a newer model next year... AND something about full frame...

hmmmm....
