Pentax with Video and GPS

Is it you who want a Pentax camera with Video and GPS. OK, in any moment Pentax may unveil their new system. No details here, but their Video, naturally, can be played in any PAL/NTSC/Whatever depending on the location you are in. And you can forget to switch the camera software to the proper format. How come? That's where the GPS system plays its act. It's not to guide you back when lost in the woods!(Why not!) When photographing/videoing your images, the exact location you are in are recorded with the info the GPS supplies. If and whenever you want to play the video just plug the camera output to a TV set and the output format will be automatically set correctly. Other utilities will probably be available. Just sit and have a Mentha tea while watching your artistry behind a lens

United States Patent Application: 0090009609

Regards
Rui

Pentax Video Cameras

Isn't Pentax a fairly significant player in the Security Camera market? Application of existing technology in a new channel?

I was thinking something like that, point and shoot or security camera, but why would a security camera need gps? lol

How about moving camera's? New toy now for some phone companies already in 2004..
Or a grid with all active cams om a screen. I see possibilities. (at least more than on a dslr)
