Pentax Moving Forward... Into Space

I've received a credible tip that Pentax is going to launch a network of satellites with cameras. Pentax will then sell little devices that you point at landscapes (lets face Pentax cameras are only good for landscapes) and the satellite network will queue your request for the next time one is in position and have it emailed to you.

Introducing a subscription model popularised by software companies such as Microsoft and Valve, a basic 24mp photo will cost $1,99, while a larger 100mp photo will cost $5. Professional post-processing to achieve the "supersaturated landscape artist look" will also be available starting at $20 per photo.

Oh, and 645D? That was just a joke.

Pentax K10D was in China's first manned space mission, "ShenZhen 5".

More reason why K10D was cooler than K20D.
