And rampant specualtion about an f1.0 lens....nice! These bad time are good times for Pentax, it seems.

And I'd HATE to be the last post in this thread...that'd be like the guy who cancelled Star Trek...or the original Iron Chef!

Yes, it has been answered at least 6 times.

I wouldn't hold my breath for an f/1 lens. I definitely won't hold my breath for it to be under $1500.

Mods/Admins can post where ever they like, even in closed threads. Mods do it all the time on another site I'm on when a thread gets out of control then locked...the last 3-5 posts are all from them (And just for fun...on vB they can view an original post even if it was edited.)

That is superb. Keeping it simple, but highly useful.
Thanks for the pictures

Not only that but the buttons are in the same relative places on the grip as they are on the body. Ev and ISO relative to the shutter button and the same with the back buttons. Nice and easy.

Well now the question can finally be answered as to what's inside the bump above the lens-release button. Um... Can anyone see inside?

Ahhh...AE-L is still kind of out in right field...

I like how the grip doesn't curve "up" where your pinky would go. Since the body is smaller, those of us with big hands won't have a squished pinky in the corner of the grip when holding it in landscape position

That's no surprise. As I can see an original post even if it was edited as well; as long as it was mine (by clicking on the Last edited link ...).

K-7 cut in half.

Not my image, but click through to flickr to see a large version.

The grip looks like it will be quite nice in use. I always though about getting the D-BG2 for my K10D but never really saw the need to. With the ability of this one to use AAs and with the button additions I'll definitely pick this one up sometime after I get the K-7.

Great image!
Looks like most of electronics is between sensor and LCD. And there is unused space above the prism! Intentionally left blank? EVF, anybody?
