If you remove the _thumb from the URL you get a slightly larger version:

This has already been posted in the K30D mega thread though. Some have already estimated size and photoshopped it.

So, bigger VF, single dial, more square body (which leads me to believe more metal contruction less poly)... anything else?

What makes you say that ? We have yet to see the back of the new camera.

If you mean the top ("mode") dial, then yes. But what would be the purpose of another one ?

There are two dials, previous leaks showed the back one.

No way, I think the leaks so far look great. I never shot with the film cameras featuring pyramid-ish shaped viewfinder housings, but I like that look. The new viewfinder hearkens back to that look. Very business-like:

I kind of like the new look. But I may be with the minority on that one. Reminds me of the Sony A900 but not as much.

the japanese says something about 'following on from a legendary past camera'' or similar, i don't speak japanese so trying to remember from something i saw on another site....i'm thinking that maybe it's sort of modeled on the LX...something in the prism and body shape.....

After all of the rumours, we will see the return of the date back!
Unremovable dates stamped all over your favourite pictures.
Also we'll see new powerzoom lenses.

Seriously though, if the things it brings back from the past is old school strap lugs, solid metal construction and a massive viewfinder while keeping a small compact size, like the digital MX, I'd be very happy.

I could see myself buying a everready leather case, the new camera + 35mm macro and running around with a nylon strap thin enough to cut my shoulder. Good times.

I don't really care what it looks like. I only care what the images quality is like, if it's as good or better than the K20D I'll look at getting one.

But why call it the K7D, it should be the K30D!
