Think of K7 as a prize for devout limited lens owners. There is a model that will replace K20D. It may come sooner than we think.

if the k7 is not supposed to replace the k20d then eventually there should be a k30d, the most interesting question would then be, which one is supposed to be the higher end body of those.

IMO ordre of releases will be: k7 -> k300->k30 or k-m2..

That is correct according to what Pentax have told us. K20D replacement is not due until well into next year.
