Pentax user featured in Digital Photo Magazine

(It used to be called PC Photo Magazine). Anyhoo...Erin Greenlee was featured in the opening of the magazine with a multi-page spread (5-6 pages?) of her photos, all shot with the K10D and mainly the 18-250 magazine (so much for all the talk about how the 18-250 doesn't have the needed quality). She has a photostream on Flickr (under the user name egreen). I don't know if she's a member here or not.

Anyway, I thought it was really cool for a Pentax shooter to be a featured shooter in one of the national magazines here.

Which issue is it? What's on the cover? That is a rarity, as you don't usually see Pentax users in photo magazine's reader's work.

Happy to learn this! I've always thought the 18-250 could give excellent results at its best apertures (f8 to f11, depending on focal length).

It's the latest issue (July?). Unfortunately, I couldn't find the feature online (Digital Photography Magazine - Your #1 Guide for Better Digital Photography | DPmag.com), but they have lots of other info from the magazine. They also talk a lot about the K7D.

YES! I saw this! It was my first time ever reading the magazine, and I was thrilled. I feel like such an underdog at times with my k10, mostly because it's Pentax, and also now with the k20 and k7 out .... I was so happy to see her work! (and promptly reminded myself it's not the camera so much as the person BEHIND the camera, and went out shooting/practicing that day!)

She did a self-portrait for 365 days, and they featured some of her shots, they were amazing.

Is it Keitha McCall, found right here on Pentax Forums Keitha McCall ?

Some amazing photos, if the article is about her and her work I'll definitely hunt down a copy.

No, her name is Erin Greenlee. I immediately thought of Keith when I first saw the article, though.

I'm so proud of Erin! We've been contacts on Flickr for a while and encouraged each other through the 365 thing.

She is an amazing photographer; definitely check out her stuff if you like, you know, good photography

I also thought of Keitha initially. There's some resemblance btw. their styles. Both are true artists.

Keitha, one of her shots looks like you (the one where she's thinking of faraway places). I originally opened the magazine to that page and thought I was looking at you.

BTW, sorry about the misspelling of your name. I hate doing that. (Doh!)

I found it today. I was confused because my local magazine shop stocks the British Digital Photo as well. I don't believe the titles are affiliated.
