I'm sorry... but WTF?
this is the... most radical thing done to camera bodies in D/SLR history.
i though those Lumix were colourful with 8 colours...
now comes with colour grips...

really... wtf? (not that i am against this. but really shocked.)

Since I'm in the US, I only get 4 choices

I am eyeing the red/white so I can look more like a carefree amateur and not a sniper, but I feel like I may regret it.

This could possibly be a hit in Japan.
Softbank, formerly Vodafone, released a phone in a range of Pantone colours a few years ago which was successful.
And, Uniqlo, budget fashion brand, always has a wide range of colours that are popular.
Seems it's for the younger crowd.

Can bright colours be a hit for cameras?
In Japan, I say yes.
Especially with the features that the K-x has.

If the red/white/navy editions prove to be popular here, I won't be surprised that they would start offering more color choices later.

It's actually 9 color choices.

Each body color gets 5 grip colors out of 9, and that makes 20BC x 5GC = 100!

Colors for the grips are...

1. Black
2. White
3. Gray
4. Brown
5. Pink
6. Red
7. Yellow
8. Green
9. Blue
