I can't say miles ahead of others, it's more like a day in the life of a photographer and a nice new toy! It's a nice perspective and optimism for all the camera can do for sure but for someone wanting the nitty gritty compared to others in the same class to help form a decision it's not swaying someone one way or the other.
As much as keep looking at a D300 something in my mind says just go with the K-7. Watching my friend shoot with his D300 and all the custom functions, quick previews/zoom, custom curves, large viewfinder, awesome grip, it just seems effortless. Now if he could do a head to head shoot out between the two.
