S5700 is running about $149.00 here in the states. That's a LOT of bang for the buck.

I'm extending the deadline by another week - the contest will be open until next Friday.

On Feb 20 (2008) I was driving home from an appointment. It had been raining all day. I was so excited to see blue in the sky that I snapped this while sitting at a stoplight.

At the next stoplight I saw the potential of a pretty good sunset. Now, did I have time to get down to the bay and shoot something before the sun went below the horizon? Taken out my front windshield this time. I wouldn't have bothered but had the p&s challenge here in mind and thought it would add to the series of events.

Ah, I made it to the bay and snapped this one:

All taken with a Panasonic FX01. No post processing on first two just resized, uploaded and posted. The last one I bumped the exposure a bit in Lightroom to bring up the shadows in the foreground. I have a macro I took with the fz30 last week that I'll get around to posting sometime before the close here.

Raindrops

Taken 2-24-08 with a Panasonic FZ30 fitted with an oly m35b macro. I had to dash out between the raindrops to take this one. I love the way the water beads up on these nasturtium leaves.
