You might want to reword #1 just a bit, unless this is truly open to any camera other than SLRs.

Yes, its open to any non slr camera. Any brand. Contest has been that way since its start. It is an "enlarged" definition of P&S. Please enter some shots.
Trying to get traffic up in this forum.

Would we just post pictures to this thread? Or is there another entry thread for that purpose?

P&S Contest #7 - Space Shuttle

Okay, not an award winner but in a couple of days the Canadian Space Agency opens up the competition for the next batch of Canadian astronauts - so thought I should dig up an old P&S of the shuttle. Ken.

Almost forgot, taken with my Samsung Digimax 201.

P&S Contest #7 - Sunny Sixteen

How about a P&S photo OF an SLR? Ha! Title of this photo is "Sunny Sixteen."

This is my 1958 Pentax "K" with the then top-of-the-line Auto-Takumar 1.8/55mm. This was the first of the famous Gaussian design lenses (6 elements in 5 groups) that became the Pentax standard for the next 40 years for the 50-55mm focal length.

Taken with a Fuji S5100 FinePix.

P&S Contest #7 - Hold It

Title of this photo is "Hold It."

Taken with a Fuji S5100 FinePix. I had a very nice shot all lined up (Hold It!) and just before I clicked the shutter he grabbed his nose (Hold It!). Nice gag...

Taken with my Canon S500. I had two days in Bermuda for work and I decided to go around one evening to take some pictures.
