WPi vs W20...

Hi guys, I'm now have an option:

WPi - very cheap price, probably more than half cheaper than the W20
W20 - newer, much high price

I'm only concerning the speed, not how fast are they, but is the operating speed of WPi acceptable??

I know pentax is "slow", slow at AF, photo saving(?), on/off speed(?), and Zooming speed(?)

For those who has or had a WPi, can you share your experience with me, do you accept the "speed" of the WPi??
Or should I actually go for the W20??

I'll only use it on beach, as long as is waterproof that's enough

Thanks guys

Hi Pat, I don't need the modernest model, I just need a "waterproof" camera which can take photo, and I am in Pv (Price priority) mode

cheers
Wilson

Can't go wrong with the Wpi. I have mine since about two years ago and its my main camera when the following conditions meet:

1) Do not want to carry my expensive stuff (vacation, bike trips, etc)
2) Do not want to worry about protecting camera stuff from environment.

So that means, that about 99% of my pics are with my Wpi.. jajaja

Very fast focusing, reasonable zooming, great macro, prime optics and about "recording speed", get a fast SD card (133x or higher) and the camera will work faster than most digital p&s's.
