Optio S10

I am considering buying an Optio S10. I am Pentax user ( I have the K10D SLR and had the MX film camera) and biased towards the brand. Any advice?

I just picked up a S10. so far I am pleased with it, many settings and features to play with.

I will post more as I play and learn, but for only taking a couple pics I am pleased with the results so far.

Hello Chris, I don't have the S10 but I do have the A40, I don't know the difference between the two, but I can say the A40 is a superb nice little P&S that takes outdoor pictures flawlessly, you won't know the difference between a DSLR or a P&S. Only in low light that the DSLR have a great advantage which is typical for any P&S. I have posted some shots here if you have seen them, there was no retouch on the pictures, posted them straight from the card. I will share some shots here that my teenage daughter took on a recent 3 days trip to Ottawa. Even the flash is powerful for such a camera that is not much bigger than a credit card.
