Optio 60 focus

Hi,
I like to take pictures of insects and flower etc, with the macro, but this camera doesn't seem to have much dof, unless I'm missing something. What are the optimum settings for these kind of subjects?
Thanks,
.... john

Haven't seen an Optio 60 yet. Not sure what settings are on it. Any macro situation has very little depth of field. The more magnification you use the less DOF you get. Your 60 will have much greater DOF than a similar DSLR. On those cameras it is common to stop the lens down to f11, 16 or more. You might be able to use flash to cause lens to stop down more. Also might be able to use higher ISO to do same. Higher ISO isn't usually a P&S strong point. Does your camera have macro only or does it also have S macro?
Can you post a few shots?
thanks
