My point and shoot camera is the Fuji Finepix F30 which I am absolutely crazy about. Aperture and Shutter priority control and very good images from 800 iso and below. Have used it in 1600 and 3200 and can get you out of a tight spot if need be.

High ISO performance was superb, low ISO performance was lousy (loss of detail, CA, non-existant DR). Got an Optio A20. Opposite problem Excellent low ISO detail, good DR, not much CA, useless at ISO200+
Looking at Optio A30 and Fuji F40. One of those will be next!
I agree with benji, this is a great little camera. Produces great images from such a little package, I have had no issues with it. Here is one of my favorites taken with the F30...
My backup P&S's are my Fuji 2800z and the still cam feature on my Sony camcorder (2.8 MP). Both cameras have decent reach, but since I picked up my telephoto zoom lenses, the cameras have been missing some action. SmartMedia for my Fuji has been "fun" to find for my camera too.
Both cameras are capable of pulling off some decent 8x10's if I have exposed the shot properly.

I have a Canon A540 P&S. It takes great pictures. I would like to carry either that or my K100D around wherever I go, but I'm not allowed to have cameras at work, and I don't want to leave them sitting in the car for 10 hours a day.
The only other digicam I own is a Fujifilm Finepix S5100 superzoom. Not quite a pocket cam, but it is less bulky than the K10D. Mind you, it has not seen action at all since I got the Pentax, and I don't foresee when it will :-)
nice to know that even if we have our big toys (pentax) a little toy is always handy. i myself have an old panasonic p&s (1.3mp) their very first dp&s which cost me $800 ++ at that time. it had survived the test of times ad still working beautifully.....but it's so heavy as a rock and may pass as a brick if you paint it red....
I use my Casion Exilip Pro EX-P600- it's a few years old, but the pictures can match those taken with an SLR. It's got all shooting modes as well as bracketing and other advanced controls.
Haven't used it since I switched to Pentax DSLRs, though
Love my K10D, but could not part with my Sony DSC-F717, 5mp and Carl Zeiss lens, with a twist back for low and high shots. Not my last Sony P&S, but a classic in my mind. Tried the F828 and R1, but still had to keep the 717.
Great for carrying on my motorbike, or in the car.. and super for quiet shots with zero sound. If only.... Pentax with a Carl Zeiss lens??? WOW!!
