Pentax ZX-50

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone knows whether the Pentax ZX-50 (also known as an MZ-50 in Europe) uses K-mount lenses?

If so, would these lenses be able to be used on a K100D?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it does.

The ZX-50 (known as the MZ-50 outside of the US) will used any KA mount lens, meaning that they must have an "A" setting on the aperture ring. It will work with older K mounts and screw mounts (with an adapter) but you cannot use the camera's metering with those. I have an MZ-50 (long story, the ending of which is "never buy from Cambridge") which is on long term loan to my sister-in-law and it used all the lenses that I had except for my oldest 50mm.

K100D can be used with any K or KA lenses, although some of them with certain limitaitions (spot / center metering only, i.e)

I have an MZ-50 (bought when I lived in South Africa), and have used both the Sigma lenses on my K100D with no problems!
