It would be nice to have the DoF calculator built-in the camera directly, wouldn't it? Zoom, focus, press DoF preview... and get also the DoF calculation on the display based on the actual aperture, focal length and focused distance

Actually, the older lenses had it printed on them. First you focused, then looked to see where the focus lined up with the depth of field scale.

I meant it mostly as a joke, but... you wouldn't like a built-in DoF calculator in your camera? Precise, usable even with the new lenses, no more other DoF calculators or tables needed - imagine it!
